How did the Defining Eve name come into being?
Coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. The Defining Eve name was created after many late nights, and is based on the the vision of creating a safe, friendly, warm environment offering women a chance to define themselves free from any stereotypes.
What is Defining Eve's commitment to health and fitness?
We practice what we preach. Just as it is important for our guests to feel healthy and balanced, it is also important for our team to embody a balanced lifestyle. To help facilitate this, Defining Eve has created Canada’s first salaried and set schedule employment opportunities for trainers.
As well, we support continuing education, run active staff events such as ski trips and whitewater rafting. We also provide staff with free access to all of Defining Eve's facilities and provide showers in our studios to encourage staff to jog/bike/walk to work.
In the communities, we work with local athletes through our Women in Motion program and celebrate client success through our Success Stories as well our staff provide hundreds of hours yearly in support of local races and athletic events.
Does Defining Eve ever discount their sessions?
No. We do however offer a few seasonal packages, which offer great incentives. Also we encourage and reward client commitment through volume discounts.
What are Defining Eve's hiring standards?
Defining Eve has the highest standards for hiring of any studio in Canada, to qualify for an interview, applicants must posses a degree in physical education or kinesiology and pass our rigorous fitness test. Prior to joining our personal training team, they undergo the industry’s most rigorous and in-depth training program.

How does Defining Eve give back to its communities?
At Defining Eve we believe that it is our responsibility to increasing the quality of life in our community, and to remain concerned with the health and well-being of others as well as our own. In support of various causes, our staff provides hundreds of volunteer hours to charities yearly, helping many worthwhile organizations to raise funds as well as awareness for their cause.
