What is Defining Eve's vision?
To recreate/define the population’s current idea of a fit woman – to encourage acceptance of all lifestyles, while making the healthy happy energetic choice accessible for all women when they are ready. No judging. No preconceived notions; just a comfortable environment to improve your lifestyle in.
How did the Defining Eve name come into being?
Coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
The Defining Eve name was created after many late nights, and is based on the the vision of creating a safe, friendly, warm environment offering women a chance to define themselves free from any stereotypes.
What is Defining Eve's commitment to health and fitness?
We practice what we preach. Just as it is important for our guests to feel healthy and balanced, it is also important for our team to embody a balanced lifestyle. To help facilitate this, Defining Eve has created Canada’s first salaried and set schedule employment opportunities for trainers. As well, we pay for continuing education events, run active staff events such as ski trips and whitewater rafting. We also provide staff with free access to all of Defining Eves facilities and provide showers in our studios to encourage staff to jog/bike/walk to work.
In the communities, we work with local athletes through our Women in Motion program and celebrate client success through our Success Stories and e-news letter as well our staff provide hundreds of hours yearly in support of local races and athletic events.
What is the purpose of the Defining Eve magazine?
At Defining Eve, we aim to bring fitness to women all across the land, educating clients as well as the population in general, on the latest trends in exercise and ensuring that women have access to positive role models as well as safe, effective exercises and realistic goal setting tools.
How can a client become more involved with Defining Eve?
Feedback. We value everything our clients have to say and greatly appreciate any information they can give us.
You could also become an ambassador or group leader through one of our clinics or nominate yourself as a success story or join us at many charitable events and races.You could even become a model in one of our magazines.
Does Defining Eve ever discount their sessions?
No. We do however offer a few seasonal packages, which offer great incentives. Also we encourage and reward client commitment through volume discounts.

How many studios does Defining Eve have at the present time, and where are they?
We currently have two locations in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and we are always looking for opportunities for growth.
What are Defining Eves hiring standards?
Defining Eve has the highest standards for hiring of any studio in Canada, to qualify for an interview, applicants must posses a degree in physical education or kinesiology and pass our rigorous fitness test. Prior to joining our personal training team, they undergo the industry’s most rigorous and in-depth training program.

Defining Eve ambassadors are local athletes, and/or role models in our communities that embody the Defining Eve lifestyle. Our ambassadors provide us with feedback on our sessions and classes. New Defining Eve ambassadors are chosen every year.
Can I model for Defining Eve?
Thank you for your interest however at Defining Eve we do not use models for our photo shoots. We instead choose to use clients and staff members who live our lifestyle and embody our culture. We use our clients and staff as models for this reason.
What are Defining Eve's plans for the future?
Global domination. Already Canada’s top personal training studio, Defining Eve is growing at a phenomenal speed, but our growth depends entirely on finding the right individuals who want to raise the level of health and personal success in their communities. We are actively searching for the right partners to help us grow into every corner of the globe.
How does Defining Eve give back to its communities?
At Defining Eve we believe that it is our responsibility to increasing the quality of life in our community, and to remain concerned with the health and well-being of others as well as our own. In support of various causes, our staff provides hundreds of volunteer hours to charities yearly, helping many worthwhile organizations to raise funds as well as awareness for their cause.
