Exercise Description:
Stationary Lunge with a Bar
Classification:
Hamstrings, Calves, Glutes, Quads
Instruction:
Start by kneeling on one knee with your front knee at a 90-degree angle. Place the toning bar behind your neck. With your feet hip-width apart and your chest is lifted, inhale and contract your abdominals. Exhale push off the floor into a lunge until the legs are straight. Inhale as you slowly lower down until the back knee is 3-4 inches off the floor. Keep the front toes up in your shoes to take any strain off the knee.
